I am astounded here at the shear animosity that a platform such as Ron Paul’s could generate - whether you want to view it as a failure or not.

Answering the question of how the results of the campaign could be a victory, as many people who don't support Ron Paul have asked his supporters, here goes. The polls, votes and results were not a victory. Obviously. If it were a victory then the headlines would read “Paul Front-Runner.” They do not read that. The victory for many of us who hold a true pain in our hearts at what this nation is becoming comes in the voices we hear starting to stand up and acknowledge this fact. That is the only victory that has come of this whole process and I thank God for it.

I grew up in a nation that I believed was how it should be but I was wrong. It was already in it’s downfall and it took several years for me to grow up enough to recognize it.

We face an enemy that wears no uniform, declares no wars but an ideological one and is willing to die and force others to die for it.

Unfortunately, America is doing the same thing. My nation has adopted this ideology that Democracy should be spread and it’s our job to do it. That is wrong, both logically and legally. The Constitution does not allow for the initiation of Military action for the purposes of spreading an ideology. It is logically wrong because not all People are ready for Democracy. It is a special form of Government that requires a special people and time for it to succeed. If Pakistan is forced into a Democracy - who will they elect? It seems likely that since 90% of their people support a Hamas ideology that Hamas leaders will be elected. It is not our job to force this upon anyone - it is our Government’s job to force it here and to protect against ALL efforts wishing to override that Democracy - both foreign and domestic.

Ron Paul’s concepts derive from one basic desire - for the Government to once again begin respecting and following The Constitution of the United States. These rules are very simple and very easy to follow. It is a relatively short document that establishes the legal concepts of this nation. Paired with the Declaration of Independence, which establishes the Moral Concepts of this Nation, these are two of the most prolific documents this world has seen since the Magna Carta.

The Constitution requires a direct Declaration of War to utilize Military power. It requires Congress to issue that Declaration and it certainly does not authorize Congress to acquiesce that power over to the President. There are so many things right now that violate the base of the Constitution but so many seem willing to disregard that in favor of playing into rhetoric and labels to justify themselves. Neo-Con, Paleo-Con, Isolationist, Zionist, Xenophobe, Racist - these are all tools of a person not willing to face a discussion free of rhetoric and both sides are violently guilty of this. There, see that, both “Sides”. I am guilty of looking at this in terms of One vs. The Other when we are all facing a planned, calculated and very determined march towards Socialism, a North American Union, eradication of the Middle Class, establishment of a Proletariat and eventual One World Government.

Let’s shit-can the rhetoric and labels and take a long and honest look at what best benefits AMERICA because she is hurt and bleeding right now.

Romeny has Left - The Fight is Now

Romney was far closer to being a Conservative than McCain could even conceive of; however, Romney was nowhere close to being good enough to be called a True Conservative. This Election is perhaps one of the most critical that this country has ever faced. While I recognize that phrase is used in almost all Presidential Elections - I believe it to be wholly true. We have an INVASION from Mexico with millions of their deposed citizens crossing our border every year and siphoning off Social Security, Welfare, Hospital Treatment, education etc. without giving anything back into the system. Along with that they are now demanding that OUR country adapt to THEIR demands when they have no legal right to be here in the first place. Why should I have to press anything for English? Along with that our currency is being assassinated in order to clear the way for the North American Union - which is a complete abortion of our Constitution and National Sovereignty. Islamists around the world are publicly declaring their intentions to destroy this country and we have started a war to stop it yet entry into our country is uncontrolled and when our Government Agents attempt to stop an invader running drugs - THEY GO TO PRISON! It is insanity. The country is crumbling and the people are starting to wake up. We need to return to the Constitution, secure our Nation, punish those that break her laws and STOP expecting the Government to take care of us from cradle to grave. Get out of my life Government - I don’t need you. I can make my own decisions.

Ron Paul is the only answer - he is the only one who’s voting record going all the way back is pure CONSERVATIVE and he is the only one that doesn’t stand in front of us and spew rhetoric. Hopefully when you have no one but McCain, Huckabee and Paul talking - people will hear the message of Freedom and Personal Responsibility then, even if he doesn’t win, they will start waking up, standing and FIGHTING BACK against those who have hijacked our supposedly Representative Government and who rape us daily for their own profit.

A Patriots Opinions

I work as a Project Manager for an Oilfield Company and went to college at Sam Houston State University and majored in Criminal Justice. My academic career has taught me several important abilities, not the least of which is critical thinking. That quality in and of itself is something that I find sorely lacking in the majority of people I run across on a daily basis. Critical Thinking is the basis for any kind of common sense a person might have because without it, you'd be standing at a locked door trying to figure out why it won't open.
Today, people are standing before a failing country wondering why it's not prospering. Think critically about the subject and the answers become almost self evident. We have a political class who were hired to be employees of the people; to do nothing more than voice the opinions of the people who hired them. Unfortunately, they have somehow gotten the idea they are there to decide what's best for us while those decisions do not affect them personally. Their loyalties lie with special interests, lobbyists, political fundraisers, large corporate funders/donors and virtually any other entity with which they can increase the profitability of their office. To ensure they stay in this imminently lucrative office, they cater to the people who represent only a small percent of the population yet control the one thing the vast majority relies on for information - The Media.
This group of broadcasters sees better fit to determine and shape the news than to actually report it. Stories on hate crimes where only certain people fit the bill, inequalities to some while enforcing inequalities to others, we?ve all heard these stories and some of us have seen through the cover. It goes on and on. The same interests desire to artificially inflate the currency by printing money based on no real value thus driving up prices, reducing spending ability, and destroying the middle class. Why is the middle class a target? Because they demand the ability to EARN good wages, retirement, health care, safe working conditions - all the things that make the American Dream possible. Instead, those in power desire a two class system - they and the proletariat where we depend on them to GIVE us everything we need; essentially creating a new slave class comprised of individuals from all races, religions, and creeds.
This slave class can be enhanced by legalizing and adopting the acceptance of Illegal Immigration. This group of people who have been raised in their countries' schools to believe that the entire South West of the United States should be returned to them as their near religious concept of Aztlan demands. These illegals then garnish the money that the working class has paid into the Government by way of income, property, capital gains, payroll taxes etc. A group of people reaping the benefits of this nation for free off the backs of the Middle Class and Upper Class because, while the Democrats love to talk about equalizing the tax system, what they really want to do is tax the wealthy more. The truth, however, according to the Congressional Budget Office's report for last year, is that the top 1% of wage earners last year paid 38.8% of the taxes. The top 1.1 million households (the evil rich) pay a greater share of the income tax burden than the bottom 90 million households combined. I understand how easy it is to hate the wealthy because it seems like all the burdens those of us in the middle class face don't seem to fall upon the very wealthy. Don't forget though, those are the people who create the jobs, the retirement plans, and the insurance plans that we then earn.
The system works quite well when the Government stays out of it but they are bound and determined to wreck this country and the people who made it successful and, this is my hypothesis based on credible evidence and obvious trends, to use the downfall of this country as a platform to move us into a North American Union, and eventually one Worldwide Government as represented in the UN. This would thoroughly destroy the sovereignty of the Nation, and the Constitution that created it, that gave them this inscrutable power in the first place. The Nation and The Constitution are the very things that these politicians swore to protect when they took office and assumed the power that WE temporarily granted them .

This might be my manifesto, it might be my musings, or it might simply be the ranting of a man who belongs in a different time. Please, I am begging people to turn off the Television, stop worrying about what the next thing to happen to Britney Spears is going to be, and start thinking. Look around you - Is this the idea of America that your parents left you? Is this the bastion of freedom, democracy, and personal responsibility that the Declaration of Independence so eloquently describes, that the Constitution requires, or the people of foregone generations worked and died to build and protect? Please join me in this movement and if there is something out there already started then let's join it. If we continue to sit on our asses and accept it as inevitable then the American People will be a 1/2 page chapter in a future History book. We have to put a stop to the insatiable march to power that our leaders and their backers have begun long ago.
